The Old Painted Cottage Antiques located in Mechanicsville, VA welcomes all our visitors to drop by to see our unique store at our new location on Chamberlayne Rd. (US 301), next door to Antique Village in the upper Atlee area of Mechanicsville, VA 23116. We have a variety of antiques, lots of painted furniture & all the decorative accessories to go with them - a one-stop shop - for that room redo. Come by soon, our inventory changes daily.
Our CompanyWe started selling antiques and decorative items quite a few years ago. We wanted to offer something different so we started painting the old beds, dressers, vanities , tables and chairs in White and Pink or Aqua or Black to go with the decor ideas you had in mind and to make the "look" of the room inviting.We also decided to offer the Lamps and mirrors, prints, and dishes to go with the furniture for a complete look. Plus we have vanity items like dresser sets, perfume bottles, hats, gloves, and costume jewelry.Our interest in design led us to create the floral centerpiece plus interior flower wreaths as art objects for the walls.Our beginning interest - the old fashioned vintage kitchen - is also offered so you can make your kitchen remind you of "going to Grandma's house" .We love our customers and try to make them feel "right at home". We offer advice or suggestions when you have questions. We also will "Paint to Order" the furniture you pick out. We hope you will find the item you need.

Although our address says Mechanicsville 23116, we can be better identified as being just north of the Atlee area or immediately south of Hanover High School.
